Bombardier Aerospace announced today that Mohammed Abu Ghazaleh, chairman of Arab Wings, has placed a firm order for a high-speed Global 5000 jet, with the Global Vision cockpit, making him the Middle East launch customer for the all-new flight deck.
Scheduled for delivery in 2011, the aircraft will be operated by Arab Wings and available for charter from its Amman, Jordan, base. “The Global 5000 jet offers a luxurious cabin, a sleek interior and exceptional performance,” said Sameer Hdairis, general manager, Arab Wings. “The addition of this state-of-the-art jet to our fleet along with our widebody Challenger 604, and Challenger 605 aircraft, enables us to offer a superb range of charter options to our customers.”
Established in 1975 Arab Wings is the first and oldest executive jet charter company in Jordan, offering VIP clients and executives a comfortable and efficient flying experience throughout the Middle East, the Gulf region and parts of Europe.
“We are delighted that Arab Wings has instilled such a high level of confidence in our business jets,” said Khader Mattar, regional vice-president, sales, Middle-East and Africa, Bombardier Business Aircraft. “Like Bombardier, Arab Wings is commited to offering its customers aircraft featuring the ultimate in comfort, luxury and technology, and that is reflected in their decision to add the Global 5000 jet to their fleet.”
