Frontier Airlines can now move forward with selling four of its Airbus aircraft for $106 million, according to a decision made Friday in U.S. Bankruptcy Court.
During the first court hearing of Frontier's Chapter 11 case, the court granted the airlines permission to sell two A319 and two A318 aircraft for a total of $106 million.
Frontier will use $68.5 million to pay the loans on the aircraft, which translates into a net gain of $37.5 million for the low-cost carrier.
