At a meeting of the ANA Board of Directors today, it was decided that ANA will order three new Bombardier Q400 turboprop aircraft and sell one Q400 in its existing fleet.
ANA Group airlines currently operate 14 Q400s on regional domestic routes from the airports of Osaka Itami and Nagoya Centrair. The new aircraft, valued at a catalogue price of JPY 10 billion for the whole order, will be delivered from 2010 and used to enhance ANA’s network and replace the airline’s aging Fokker 50s as part of its fleet renewal plan.
