Embraer and Arab Wings Ltd. of Amman, Jordan, have signed a purchase agreement for one Phenom 100 and one Phenom 300. The two aircraft will be based in Amman Marka International Airport, where the headquarters of Arab Wings are located. This order was already included in Embraer’s backlog.

Both the Phenom 100 and Phenom 300 will be used for on-demand charter in the Middle East. Arab Wings will also offer the Phenom 100 for twin-engine jet training. The aircraft will then be subcontracted by Royal Jordanian Air Academy for its professional pilot training course.

“The Phenom 100 and the Phenom 300 have been very successful in the Middle East region,” said Colin Steven, Embraer Vice President, Marketing and Sales – Europe, Africa and the Middle East, Executive Jets. “Today’s announcement makes us especially honored, since Arab Wings is the oldest business jet operator in the Middle East.”

“The versatility of the Phenom 100 and the Phenom 300 played a major role in our selection process in favor of these aircraft,” said Sameer Hdairis, Arab Wings General Manager. “Their robust design makes it possible to conduct all the missions we are performing at Arab Wings, including pilot training.”
