New airplanes are very expensive; many of them cost between $45m to $300m. Many Nigerian airlines cannot afford new aircraft. So how are they going to own modern planes in order to remain in the competitive market dominated by well-to-do foreign airlines that enjoy state-of-the-art aircraft?
